The Access Center:
Our Access Center is located inside the Gate 17 entrance to the HullabaLOU Music Festival and is marked on all Festival maps. Please visit the Access Center once you arrive to ask any questions pertaining to the Access Program, to receive your wristband and to find information relevant to our guests with disabilities. Assistive Listening Devices are available for loan, at no cost, with a valid photo ID required as deposit. The Assistive Listening Devices will only work for the HullabaLOU Stage performances. Questions about our Access program can be directed to access@cdentertainment.com.
Wristband Program:
Visit the Access Center for information on our wristband program. If you have mobility limitations, you will be given a specially colored wristband when you visit The Access Center. The wristband is to show security/volunteers/staff that you (plus one companion) are eligible to enter the wheelchair platform areas. NOTE: The wristband does not guarantee a spot in these areas. Each platform location has limited capacity and the platform areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The wristband is good for the entire time for which you are ticketed and is non-transferable. To view the platform locations, visit the Access Center, from here you can consult the Festival map. On the event map look for wheelchair symbols or ask at the Access Center.
Companion Policy:
Each person with a disability may bring one companion into the reserved viewing areas.
What’s NOT Cool?
Faking it! We must reserve these viewing areas for patrons who genuinely have mobility disabilities. Overcrowding the Access areas defeats the purpose. Please do not abuse the system.
Guests with Mobility Limitations:
The HullabaLOU Music Festival grounds are wheelchair accessible, but please be aware that this is a large venue with great distances between stages. In addition, this is an outdoor music festival, combining brick surfaces, asphalt surfaces and natural terrain. Rainy weather might create some muddy areas and impair movement. NOTE: Entrance to the infield stages requires travel through a tunnel beneath the racetrack and involves travel over concrete with 5 % grades at both ends.
Two wheeled scooters, golf carts, and vehicles, other than power wheelchairs and three or four wheel scooters are not allowed. HullabaLOU does not provide personal care assistance, golf cart rides or wheelchair push service. Please bring an attendant if such services are needed. Also, HullabaLOU does not provide wheelchairs for rent; however, such rentals may be made prior to the festival directly with the companies below.
- Scootaround Mobility Equipment: 888.441.7575
- Movin On Mobility: 502.964.3556
A map of the facility locating viewing platforms will be available at the Access Center. These platform areas are reserved for guests with mobility limitations plus one companion at all times. Please note that these areas have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To provide unobstructed lines of sight to the stage, guests in these areas will be asked to sit during the performances and folding chairs will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Failure to comply with the above Access Area policy will result in immediate expulsion from the access area.
Guests with Hearing Limitations:
Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) will be available for loan at no cost with a valid photo ID and credit card as a deposit. The ALDs can be obtained at the Gate 17 Access Center. Please be aware that the ALDs will only work for the HullabaLOU Stage.
Restrooms:
Permanent restrooms are noted on the HullabaLOU map and most include accessible stalls. There will be accessible port-o-lets available in each restroom area. Accessible port-o-lets can be secured for privacy, and keys for these port-o-lets will be provided at The Access Center upon arrival each day. The keys should be returned to The Access Center at the end of each day. A photo ID and credit card number will be required as a deposit.
ATMs:
Accessible Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are located throughout the venue and their locations are noted on the site map.
Concessions:
We offer accessible concession stands and bars that are accessible to all HullabLOU guests.
Special Dietary Needs:
Outside food and beverage (except for up to 2 – 20 oz. bottles of water) is not allowed in the Festival, but if a guest has special medical dietary restrictions, items will be allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note. If one has items that must be refrigerated please take to one of the First Aid locations. Each First Aid location is noted on the Festival Map. If one has an issue during the bag check of necessary items, ask to speak with the gate supervisor.
Service Animals:
Pets are not allowed within the HullabaLOU Music Festival grounds. Service Animals, however, which have been trained to provide assistance to an individual with limitations, are welcomed as long as they carry a visible Service Animal identification. The owner of the animal may be asked to describe the nature of the service the animal provides. The owner will also be required to keep the animal on a leash and to clean up any mess they may make. Service animals may be accompanied to the second floor at Gate 17 to cool off from the July heat. The relief area for service animals is located inside Gate 10.
First Aid:
There are three First Aid stations, with trained professionals, located throughout the Festival grounds. Their location can be found on the Festival map, inquiring at The Access Center or contacting any event staff.
